I'll make it a quick one. Baby Crib... put it together 2 years ago and overtightened... stripped the screw head. Tried to drill it out and quit. This was 2 years ago. Very limited space to access as pictured... can't go in "straight" per say...

Thanks for the advice everyone.

Don't ask.
Disassemble the whole thing. Then turn the whole end to loosen the screw. If you can get a little gap slide a hacksaw blade in and cut the screw.

For small screws in wood I've had good luck with the reverse rotation "power extractor" bits that almost look like a two flute countersink.

Are you converting it over to a regular bed for your kid now? If I remember right when we did this, you're only going to be using two of the four pieces of the frame. Just cut up the side of the frame that you're not going to use.

Get hold of a "pancake pork chop"
I have one and they are life savers in aircraft maintenance. Just drill the screw head off then use an easy out to remove the base after you have separated the two parts

Measure it accurately and drill it from the back ...I had the same exact issue ... the screws a very cheap they strip easily ... they drill out easy also.
