Yea I suspect MOST people (cough cough) don't have an alert that goes off every time I post something on the forum so they can rush in to quickly respond.. you're beginning to get like an unwanted girlfriend. You're invading my personal cyber space.. "3 foot" rule guy.. however that translates into online forums would be a good start..

I like the energy drink analogy, because people often will spend a few bucks here and there on things they don’t need, but would like to have. This adds up. Ultimately people will spend there money on what they value. Wether that is quality tools, a vacation, a big screen tv, new cell phone, a new car, a new part for your their car, or their health, or their family.

Went crazy there to bring up some areas that some people might over look.

I have read the energy drink analogy in other posts as well.

Well unfortunately, about 20 seconds of using Google would reveal those BOJO kits available all over the place.. like this 10 piece kit (others were 5) with the pouch for $28 shipped..

You can literally find those kits from many different websites, cheaper than the manufacturers website, which is usually typical when shopping online..

And yes I'm aware that's a scraper kit, but just making the point. You can find the trim removal sets also with a few minutes online. Obviously shipping will vary from place to place.

I'll agree - for SOME people the tool truck option might be worth it, buts it's not necessary.

I realize that it can be found cheaper, but I compared the price listed on Bojo site to Snap On because it (Snappy) was mentioned beforehand. I wasn't trying to show it could be gotten elsewhere cheaper or more expensive....just a Bojo vs Snappy comparison. The "catch" with buying it elsewhere could be warranty issues, if they arose (I am not, into going into The Great Tool Truck Warranty Debate).

Only difference really that I know of, is USUALLY - you can only buy snap on products direct from snap on or one of their dealers.. people get crazy about that sometimes. I remember seeing an add on Amazon for snap on ratchets (fulfilled by private seller I assume) and people were actually leaving threatening reviews about how they were gonna "turn him in" to snap on, and it was probably just some guy that stumbled across a few ratchets..

At least in this case, under their original label- you can buy the BOJO products from all sorts of retailers cheaper than direct from the manufacturer. I never really understood that myself either, but it happens a lot.. Cold Steel is like that too. Buy direct from them and the prices are high, buy their own product from someone else's site and you can find like a 30% discounted price, even more sometimes..

The reason you can often buy cheaper from a distributor than the manufacturer is that the manufacturer wants to be in the manufacturing business not the distribution business.

If they undercut their distributor network they may soon find themselves neither distributors nor manufacturers.
