Struggling to identify who made this hammer

I'm not sure if I should be adding to another "help me identify the brand of this hammer" thread or start my own one. After reading around for a few weeks, I've decided to start one. I hope I'm not cheesing anyone off. I've had this hammer lying around for a while and I'm finally getting around to cleaning it up. I can't find anything on the web that identifies it by the wording. It's a 1 lb. BP with what I believe to be stamped

SOLID CAST STEEL
ENGLISH MAKE (or MARF.)

Above the words is some sort of snail? or flower? I don't know. Anyone have any idea off the top of their head? Thanks for all your wealth of knowledge!

It's a Snail brand ball peen hammer. I think it was/is a UK brand.

OK, OhKay! Good spotting the snail! It's the 1st snail brand hammer I've seen or heard of. I have and have had lots of wrenches from them I never knew they made hammers.
