Strut prices

What are you guys paying for strut? These prices are crazy town. On the order of the $9 two x four studs during covid.

Or is this just the new normal?

It’s been thru the roof for the last 4yrs. I buy a few thousand ft every year and my price for deep, slotted, galv is $28 n change a stick.

Bought a bunch of 20’ sticks of strut from zoro early 2020. Was even free delivery. Then bought some more 10’ from HD.

Recently looked at the prices and almost choked. I know the world has gone crazy but didn’t realized just how crazy. I wouldn’t have been able to have bought all I did at todays prices.

As long as people are paying high prices, why would any merchant sell strut for less?

We scrapped a ton of it in 2008-2010, I was helping a friend clean up his business. I should have picked up a pile of it. Trying not to be a hoarder....

It's been $$$ since I can remember.

I bought a stick around 2013 and it was $40 then.
All for like 6" too. Still have the rest in my scrap pile.
