Anybody ever use these? I'm in the middle of a new build and was thinking of getting these for the garage. Maybe four of them. What do you guys think?

Their video says it all. Terrible glare and shadows. Yes, it's better than relying on the garage door opener lights, but that's the only good thing I can say about it. Obviously intended as a band-aid solution for those with screw in bulb sockets who can't be bothered to install 4ft strip lights. I would never go this route for a new build or for any space you want to work in.

I have them in my garage. I found them on a site for $80 each. Very bright and obviously easy to install. I have them aimed at the white walls to rely on them to diffuse the light. Would love some proper LED strips but it’s all brand new construction and I wasn’t yet ready to cut into the finished ceilings just yet.

I have 3 of them running, I like them. Super bright. Building new garage so will only have up for a few months but they are cool. They do blind you if you look at them by accident.
