I have that set. I don't use them very often. I usually reach for my 1/4" sockets when I need smaller sizes. I have large (wide) hands and a few times when I have used them they
were more of a problem in not having a longer shank to get my hands further away from the work to prevent them hitting something.

I mostly use 1/4, 7mm,8mm. If I need something shorter because of a clearance issue I grab my stubby ratchet and a socket.

I would rather use a thumbwheel ratchet over a stubby nut driver any day. Those dont seem very practical in my line of work

I do kitchens and appliances ...the stubbys had fatter handles for better torque and obviously shorter to fit in tighter spots....that said I have no use for them outside of appliances...

I have the stubbies and I use them at times. There were a couple of sizes that were offered in a stubby (like 5.5 MM) that was not included in the standard set?

Never seen those before. They are cool cuz the shank and the handle are both shorter.
Sometimes they just shorten the shank and call it a stubby
