Stubby Hex Bit Sockets

Does anyone have experience with this gearwrench stubby hex bit driver set #81149 or similar set?

as opposed to this set #80323

Are those one piece as well? I am mostly looking for the pros/cons of each type, it will not be used with an impact

One piece bits.
Pro: Shorter height, fits into tight spots better than two piece.
Con: If the bit gets damaged the whole thing has to be replaced.

Two piece bits.
Pro: Sometimes the bit itself can be replaced if damaged. Snap-On does this for example.
Con: Taller height, doesn't fit well in tight spots like the one piece bits. Usually more bulky than one piece bits.

I'm sure there are more pros and cons for both,These are just a few that came to mind from my own experience with both types.

I have broken a couple of the Gearwrench 2-piece bit sockets (Torx) and I am not a pro, nor was I abusing the tool. I'd go with the VIM or give the 1-piece set a whirl.

I'd also recommended the VIM. I have the stubby torx and hex and they are great. Have a couple sets made by them and no issues w/ any of them and all are heavy used.

If you are looking to get into tight spots you might check out VIM kit VHC77. There has been a few guys that bought those one piece hex bits to use at work and they never seem to last as long as the socket style. Along with the VIM kit I mentioned above I have the VIM made Cornwell re branded stubby hex bit sockets and a lot of times the stubby hex sockets are still to long so I hardly ever use them.

I have used the vim sockets in 1/4 drive for years and they are great and work for most applications

Vim just released a 50 piece 3/8 drive set that is on my list now
