That's a **** *** design. 3/8 drive but it starts at 1/4 hex? WTF are you gonna do with a 3/4 hex that is 3/8 drive?

look at the pictures of both sets listed they have the same part numbers.

I must say amazon does have some strange pricing, that seems to fluctuate quite often.

Amazon's prices fluctuate... check the MRSP on them. If the metric sockets are included in the other kit... then its a no-brainer. Use camelcamelcamel.com

OP, the Sunex 3646 set includes the metric stubby drivers in the 3645 set plus SAE stubby drivers. IMO the 3646 is a great deal for $29.99 and I have had it in my "saved for later" list for awhile. I've always thought that even when you don't necessarily need a stubby hex driver these might come in handy just because they don't have a long shaft to twist or break. Also being Sunex impact means stamped and laser engraved, CR-MO instead of the less desirable CR-V and overall very good quality, durable sockets.

I don't care for these. I don't think you can make an impact socket, which needs to be soft to avoid shattering, with an integral hex bit hard enough to be functional. Especially in the smaller sizes. I think there's a reason Snap On and other good manufacturers don't offer this design.
