Don't browse for -sockets - as much so not aware what's on the market.

Does anyone make shallow-stubbish hex sockets aside from the current SO ones I have.
Online, I see Carbyne on Amazon but even those don't seem as stubby as the SO ones I have.

Just curious - and also seeking a shallow drain plug set that is not SO pricing.

HF used to sell an awesome set. They stopped selling it 10 years ago for some reason. I've never broke any in daily use in the shop, piped 'em a few times too. Check out this set.

If so, lots on Amazon.
My experience is that one piece bit sockets are rarely satisfactory. Also steer clear of impact bit sockets. Find them to be soft. There’s so much risk in wrecking the fastener with these. Frankly, I think it’s wisest to stick with snap on. Exception might be dealer techs who have quick easy access to replacement hardware.
