I'd recommend VIM. I have the VIM sets in stubby torx/hex and I love them and never had a issue with them. And the can be found for usually under $30.

VIM half cuts/stubbies are what you want. Bits are less than half an inch long, the actual length required to use torx in most situations.

If you use them often the Snap-on (not the Bluepoint's) are well worth the price. Ebay may be less as well.

That said, I have the 1/4 drive Bluepoint stubby hex's & they seem pretty good.
