stucco contractors in bay area

Maybe somebody on here might know somebody in the east bay that does quality work. I want to get my house covered in stucco in the next few weeks and am looking for a reputable stucco contractor. Does anybody have any recommendation?

I got three quotes thus far, golden state stucco, Kenyon plastering, and a third one which I cant remember off the top of my head.

Well because we own Golden State Stucco, I say you go with us . Either way it is good you are choosing to go with a licensed sub-contractor, you would be amazed at the amount of repair work we have done lately on fixing "bad jobs" from unlicensed people.

I'm located in Tracy...I will ask my contractor for the number of the guy who did mine (there are several pics of the stucco job at the link below). The guy did a nice job of matching the texture on the new garage with that of the (existing) house. I'm pretty sure he works all over the bay area.

If you still need a referral, I can dig up the guy who did my house in San Jose. 5 years old and not single crack to be found anywhere. I wish I could say the same for my concrete...

He used this white top coat that really works well. It has a bit of texture to it, but it was cheaper that way.

Thanks for all of the feedback. Its good to see that a locally owned shop is on here. I am being very hesitant on picking somebody right now as I don't have any solid recommendations (hence asking on here).
Golden state stucco was more appealing to go with on my list but they came in with the highest quote when I did my first round. All of that is now down the tube as I just received an extremely high quote. So far the range has been $7500-$15000 for a single story 1350 square foot house.
I'm still open to a few more quotes and recommendations if you guys have them. Dodgepolara500 and rwhite692, let me know what you have the more information I have the better.

I wouldn't recommend Kenyon. My roofer damaged my stucco and Kenyon was his back pocket stucco guy. When Kenyon came out to look at the damage to right up a quote, he asked me what type and color of stucco my stucco was. Needless to say I wasn't confident that they could adequately do the repair.

Kenyon was the one that came back with the lowest quote. Sometimes you get what you pay for which has me worried if I were to pick this lowest bid.

As a consumer and sub-contractor. I really suggest that the first step anybody takes when getting ready to hire someone to do work is to go back to the person that you feel the most confident with (regardless of price) and let them know what the other contractors are coming in at. Although sometimes they cannot meet those prices it opens up the conversation to make some changes to scope of work and potentially a win - win. Often the least expensive bids are different materials and scope of work followed with change orders, and a quick phone call can help make sure that whatever decision you make it is the right one.

I have a somewhat similar "dilemma". Two sides of my detached garage have tin "siding" and the others are stucco. I'm struggling whether to do the work myself or hire a contractor. Contractor labor cost will kill the budget. Doing it myself will cost considerably less but may not be at par with a professional. Suggestions?
