I ahve a Blue Point impact gun that has stopped working. I have a feeling that it rusted up inside because it hasn't been used in many years. It is a AT500D, that is no longer serviced by Snap On. Any suggestions what to do to revive this gun? It doesn't have a lot of use on it, but it is quite old.

You might start with some air tool conditoner; the directions give you a sense of how long to add it and let it soak. Try this a number of times and see if things improve. If you get nowhere; then take it apart and see what is up with it. Dirt, rust, grime etc. could be gummed things up or hard parts could be broken, air vanes stuck etc. Give the conditioner a try and go from there... good luck! :)

PB Blaster Air Tool Conditioner (I got mine @ my local NAPA; special order the next day)
