I'm jonesin' to buy an electronic stud finder, mainly because I saw the Black & Decker stud finder/laser level thing at Sears yesterday.

Do you guys have any experiences or recommnedations? I want a better/best unit, not a use it once & pitch it model.

Thanks!

Mike

You want the Zircon Centervision stud finder.....instead of finding the edge like ALL stud finders do......this finds the middle

I have this one and its awesome......I got one while I was representing Zircon here in Texas.....they make all the Sears brand....but I dont know if they are making a centervision for Sears

Here is there website

I've got a Zircon Multiscanner Pro SL that I picked up at the local ACE because they were on sale at the time. Can use it for finding metal/wood studs and AC power (romex only). Works like a champ...has a light beam that shows where the edge of the stud truely is..pretty cool.

Also have a Ryobi and an older Zircon and they work nowhere as good as this one.
