Live in the eastern Washington state and we run two cars with 4 studs. Anything stand up to this. My floor is 32 years old. Would like to paint it.

That means no in terms of epoxy, lol. I bet some of the plastic floor tiles would be okay with studs. Maybe they will chime in.

I use black rubber mat from Home Depot. The kind that comes on the cut to length roll. I got a cut the length of my car bay, rolled it up and cut it in half with a circular saw to get 2 lengths. I think it was like $40.

If you go the epoxy route you can protect it during the winter months with pieces of our Www.supratile.com. We would have this in our overstock at 50% off to make lanes to protect the floor, and is easily removed and stacked up when not in use.
