I'm in a weird postion with my education we have a snap on truck here no Mac or matco but I've heard snap on only has tools in sets I know that Matco offers everything at a discount I'm not sure about Mac. If I break any Matco tools I would have to pay shipping back to me the matco distributing center for a replacement. Does anyone have advice or previous experience with this any comments are appreciated

Who knows?
I don't think that's correct. I'm not a student or a tech, but if IIRC, you can purchase individual tools as well. Not just sets.

Snap-On is limited in what they offer in SEP, but you can get individual tools. Just have to look up part numbers on the Snap-On site, and enter them into the SEP site to see if available on a discount. Just searching on the ****** SEP site won't turn up much.

Matco offers everything at a 50% discount. You can even buy multiples in different colors. Just need to sign up online with your school and instructor's name. Don't know if Matco sends you a shipping label or if you have to pay for a replacement shipped to you. Driver should warranty after you build a good business relationship.

MAC is an archaic Fax in an order form/invoice, you can find a link on their website enter your address and they will send you a info packet with order forms

Does anyone have a list of all of the tech schools in USA that offer a student discount of 64% off on Snap-On?

I know a tech school that offers students 64% off on Snap-On, 60% off on Mac, and 52% off on Matco, but it would be nice to see a full list of schools nationwide.

You can get pretty much anything you want from snap on through sep, except for premium tool boxes and other big ticket items like air compressors. If you want something thats not on the sep website or in the sep catalog just contact the snap on rep for your school with the product number and they will give you a quote. I just got out of school a few months ago and thats what I did. You can also get SO industrial brand tools but the discount isnt as deep.
