Instead of starting a new thread to share each of my reviews in, I thought to keep them together in a single post. If a particular tool produces a lot of interest or questions, then maybe a new thread will be justified.

One-line summaries will be posted here. Full reviews are on TG for those that are interested.

Wilde Flush-Fastener Slip-Joint Pliers (March 2012)
Well-made, smooth performance, good quality, inexpensive, made in USA.

Porter Cable 18V Li-ion Drill (March 2012)
High-end DIY and value-priced Pro drill/driver.

Craftsman Auto-Load Utility Knife (March 2012)
Imperfect execution of a neat blade-change concept.

All-Spec Precision Tweezers (March 2012)
These tweezers are cheap (~$3) but hold their points well and don't bend/deform/loosen with use. Greater value tweezers.

Wera classic Kraftform screwdriver set (March 2012)
These drivers may be Wera's "cheap" line, but they're definitely built well. Handles are hard plastic without any rubbery accents or cushioning, but still grip securely. Tips are plain, but well-made and don't wear easily. A solid buy, but those with larger budgets will want to step up to the premium driver styles.

I don't have them in front of me, but I believe that's where they're made. I was actually upset a couple of years back when I purchased a tools are made in Czech Republic and not Germany, but time and much usage has led me to trust the quality of Czech goods.

There's a reason Hitler invaded that place. The Czechs produced a lot of quality war material for the Germans. Many were brought in to work at the plants in Germany as well.

Wera screwdrivers are czech. I have the chisel and the SS ones.

The czech also have a great tradition of glass work.
