The top half of my Craftsman box fell over during the move... and some tools are now behind the bottom drawer. I tried removing the drawer but can't seem to figure it out. Any suggestions for removing the drawer to get the tools behind it?

Thanks!

There is usually a catch in the slide that needs to be pushed in or pushed down while the drawer is being pulled out.

Directions are usually a good idea also.

No directions... box was a hand-me-down. There is a catch on either side of the rails, just can't figure out how to defeat it.

Friction slides, or BB? Assuming it is friction there is either a clip that you slip a screwdriver under as you push the rail back into the box, or there is a small hole in the side of the rail and you hold the slide rail with one hand (fixed if you will) and move the drawer in and out and then you will see a small tab that is bent up, push the tab, (visible through the small hole) down with a small screwdriver as you pull the drawer past the lock tab and ultimately remove the drawer leaving the rail in the box.

Got it. Here is a picture in case anyone else ever needs it... just push with a flat blade screwdriver..

It was like a treasure chest behind the drawer... all kinds of goodies. Trolling CL now for a Snap On box... this CM is just too small.

Thanks!

I thought I had lost about $100 in Snap on tools, just a few swivel sockets, and I had to load up the box to go do some work at my mom's house and heard them rattling in there. It was like Christmas when I pulled out the bottom drawer.
