Attention Canadians! There is a guy in Red Deer Alberta, Starting up a Toolbox Company. He is on Facebook, under Styrke.industries. Seems to offer a good Solid Toolbox.

I stumbled on this for looking for another toolbox for my Garage.

Here are some pics

Roller Chest Specs:

- Dimensions- 64" wide, 40" tall and 28" deep
- 29,808 in³ of usable drawer space
- Heavy duty spring casters with brakes

Yes the Dimensions are impressive. I love the fact that they are 28 Inches Deep. There is a Video on Facebook on the Soft Closing Drawers. Very Impressive, That is a nice touch for a toolbox.

I'm gonna Go out on a limb and say it is 12 - 14 guage steel. The Mechanics Edge will be the 20 guage as seen on the left (The Smaller Box in that pic)

Definitely interesting! Looks as though the wide top drawers could use a little depth, particularly if you are going to have deep sockets loaded into them on rails, that could just be a perspective thing though.

I'm thinkin the mods should get the low down skinny on these boxes. They are Alberta Made!

Perhaps an Article on these boxes would be a good Idea to promote some business for this guy. Times are hurtin here in Alberta right now. I know I am really considering a Box like this. Perhaps one of these.

Are these boxes manufactured in house?

There is a local company in BC called TCA that imports boxes from China, but just available now in blue and black

These Styrke boxes come in so many color configurations, I think they are Alberta made. My guess on a Hutterite colony. No limit to the money they can spend on shop and fabricating equipment.

A 72 x 28 x 48 Styrke box retails for $4450 cad which is competitive to the Extreme and the like boxes once shipping, exchange and border/import fess are added on to the US online price

12-14 gauge steel compared to 20

Site currently says "All chests are built with 1.2mm steel and 1.6mm (18 and 16 gauge) double broke, double wall construction."

I like the look. Maybe two shallow top drawers instead of one deep in a standard red or black and assistance getting it past duties at border patrol and I'd be in.
