Sub panel disconnect bonding

Hi all, planning on building a detached garage with a 100A sub-panel. It will be fed from my main exterior 200A panel. I'd like to have the panel mounted inside the garage, with an exterior disconnect. I understand not bonding neutral/ground in a sub-panel, but how would that apply with a disconnect switch between the main panel and sub-panel? I've attached a rudimentary diagram of my planned wiring. Would this be the proper bonding method? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

Your schematic is correct. Treat the exterior disconnect as if it were a sub panel.....neutral is isolated from ground. Ground and Grounding Electrode Conductor bonded together at ground block in disconnect. Ground rods connect into disconnect ground bar.

Continue from the disconnect to sub panel with a 4 conductor feed, again keeping ground and neutral isolated from each other. No further ground rods needed.

neutral is ONLY bonded at the first means of disconnect (main service panel). from there any and all panels and disconnects are treated like subpanels with isolated neutrals. you dont want neutral return current flowing on unintended metal pathways causing a potential for shock
