The breaker going to my out building is using Alum 2ga cable. The problem I'm having is the breaker for the second time needed replacement do to corrosion and one of the leads going in the the sub panel is starting to have corrosion problems to.

What I would like to now is there a full proof fix for this without replacing everything? My research shows I could use cop/alum breaker and sleeves is this correct? Is this a permanent fix? Is Penetrox A needed for this fix?

I will see if I can get some photos up letter tonight if you think that will help.

Buy some Penetrox, No-Alox or other approved anti-oxidant for aluminum wire. Don't depend on the electricians to have it or to get it if they don't have it
