If you want to run conduit, PVC conduit is not too hard if you have a basement which connects or comes close, just fit it all up dry and then match mark every joint along the axis of the pipe for rotation, and then also show how far to engage the fitting when you add glue...sometimes it can act as a lubricant and get the joint over-engaged leading to fitment problems later.

Then a spool of #2 or so plus a #6 ground and you're off and running. I like the added protection of the conduit's heavy wall tube.
