I installed a subpanel in my detatched garage. I know it has probably been distgusted before on here, but I am unsure if I should install the bond screw to bond the neutral. I left it out for now, but I have hooked the neutrals to the neutral bar, and have put all the bare wire grounds to the ground bar. Should I install the bond screw to bond them together ??

If your subpanel is off of a main service panel, such as in a house, or main disconnect, such as a main breaker at a meter socket mounted on a pole, then NO, the neutral bar(s) needs to be isolated from the panel enclosure AND the ground bar(s).

If the panel is ONLY connected to a meter socket AMD no main disconnect, then neutral and ground bars SHOULD be bonded!

You didnt specify what the aubpanel feeds off of, so I gave u both scenarios!

Thanks, I was right to leave the screw out then because it's fed from my main panel in my house.
