I am in the stages of finishing the attic above my garage and have heard good things about advantech regarding subflooring.

However, upon looking at Lowe’s website, it appears they carry the subfloor but not adhesive?

What subfloor adhesives should I use?

DAP Smartbond is another foaming polyurethane based subfloor adhesive just like Advantech's (DAP's was around first, so who knows -- Advantech may just be repackaging it).

I built a house with Advantech subfloor in 2017, and we used PL Premium. Still polyurethane based (which is the important part when using Advantech), but in traditional caulking gun tubes, instead of spray foam. My framers at the time, were leery of the foam, but I would've had no issues using it.

I used PL premium. Great adhesive. Don’t forget to glue the groove. But not too much or the sheets won’t interlock tight.

PL3 premium or the PL 400, I don't like liquid nail... once those PL stuff dried... you'll have to destroy the wood to take it out... lol I did for 5 sheet of it.....
