Subscribed thread folders, setting the default one.....

I have done this before, but I can't figure out how I did it. Anyone able to help, I am sure it is more obvious than I think.

I have ten or so folders, I want to set the one that it defaults to when I click on subscribed threads in the quick links drop down menu.

How do you have 10 folders? I only have 3 boxes to fill out for folder names.

Also is there a way to auto subscribe to threads you post in?

You add new ones and they appear above. Never seen a way to auto subscribe based on posts.

there is an option under user CP, Edit Options, messaging & notifications, Default thread subscription mode.

YES thats it. Was skimming over the messaging and notifications section assuming it wasn't in there.

Was there anything about default folders? I am still trying to figure that out.

Nope. In the folders options I see one folder in its own section that has instructions with it then 3 boxes to add folders below it. Could it be whatever folder you name in that single section be the default? Idk.
