Subscribing to a thread

Hello everyone,
I am wondering if there is a way to subscribe to a thread so as to keep an eye on someone's build progress. I have seen in several posts people talk about subscribing to a post. Any help would be great.

Also, how to search for a thread that I've seen before but have no idea what the title was. For example...I found this site by stumbling upon a red '68 camaro with a matching garage that I would love to see again but have no idea how to find it.

to subscribe to a thread, simply;

1. go to the first post at the top of the page
2. click on "Thread Tools"
3. click on "Subscribe to this thread"
4. and then you'll see a final button called "Add Subscription"

i'll ponder a little on the 2nd question and may provide some pics.
