What brand of suction gun (oil and gear lube) have you guys had luck with? I am sick of junk guns I buy locally that leak after a couple of uses. I do not remember guns being this problematic.

Thanks,

Tim

Harbor Freight. I've never found one that isn't a leaky PITA, no matter how much I've paid.

I stopped using them years ago. I now just use a MityVac 7201. Don't overpump it and don't use the thin tubes for gear oil and it works well. Of course it's just tubes, no fittings. I clean it with brake parts cleaner. I also use one to dispense gear oil and transmission fluid for my own cars.

I tried a few different ones from HF to some quality ones and didn't find one that worked decent. I ended up buying a mityvac and love the thing. Spend the extra money and you will be happy. I also made a couple fluid dispensers out of garden sprayers that work great for transfer and different fluid.

I bought a MAC one awhile back when they were on sale. Have only used it a few times, but no problems so far. Does its job well without any leaks so, im happy.
