Suggest Review and sales

Just an idea to keep the tech/help threads tech/help. Also help research whats out there with a little less clouds to sift through.

Two new forums
product/Vendor Review - praising or trashing products/vendors and open discussion

Vendor sales - People that manufacture or distribute a product should have a place to showcase what they have without fear of thread hijack.

We already have a Product/Vender review forum. I believe vendor sales are limited to one posting, so that this doesn't become a commercial sales site.

I think i worded it wrong.
A lot of, "our product is better beacuse" , and the other guy, "your product isnt as good becuse.. " has made it into the flooring section.
(Possibly) within the flooring forum, two subtopics topics to
A) Have a showcase from those that make/distribute a product, without fear of being hijacked.
B) Have a flooring specific review, so if someone is looking for a flooring product, we dont need to scroll through wrench, lift, compressor review threads.

Yeah, I understand where you're going. The real problem is that people aren't following the rules that are already supposed to be used. Off topic posts are just part of this board. Unfortunately adding more forums would just give posters more opportunity to abuse current posting rules. It would be nice if the forums stayed on topic. I think that monitoring the site 24/7 would be needed to accomplish it though.
