Suggestion for Floor-

house is 9 years old- I painted the garage floor after a year with some Home depot concrete paint. Not the greatest but it definitely made clean up after working on the car so easy and I have no stains. obviously I have the tire lifts but otherwise it has just general warying.

Now I got two of the Rustoleum EPOXYSHIELD 2 1/2 car kits ($25 deal)to do over the floors- Yes I know many dont like it but I bought two kits thinking I would double up on the spread and do a clear coat (Maybe another brand) on top also someone told me I can also put a polyurethane over it.

Questions:
1)What do I do to prep for this since I have paint down on the floor now and
2) anyone have had experience putting down double spread of the EPOXYSHIELD. Is it work it

I'm no expert by any means, but the new coating will adhere to what's on the floor now. When that lets loose so will the Epoxyshield. Sounds like you'll need to get the old paint off.

Any coating can only stick to what is under it, so we do agree with the suggestion to remove as much as possible of the old coating so that all of your new work doesnt fail when the old coating comes up.
