Hello folks,

I'm installing outdoor lighting as part of our garage extension build. The front of the garage is 32' wide, and there will be two fixtures, one at each corner, approximately 13' high. This lighting will be used to illuminate the apron area in front of the new garage (approximately 60' wide and 20' deep). The framing is complete and the stucco will be going on soon, so it's time to choose the light fixtures. They need to be high-quality LED units - I'm willing to pay a premium for something that will last a long time - and naturally the head/s should be adjustable. The brighter the better, and Mrs. kbuhagiar suggests that the enclosures should preferably be white.

Suggestions? (Hello CD! ;))

Thanks in advance.

This is a wall mount, downlight wall pack with "full cutoff", which means that no light is wasted shining up into the sky or down the driveway. It will easily cover the 20' deep apron and more. It has 5 power settings between 2300 at 11,000 lumens and 3 CCT settings. Probably cost you less than $150.

This one is similar, except that you can "aim" it outward to your liking. Also selectable power & CCT.
Cost is about the same.
Both of them have a built-in photocell which you can disable.
www.envisionledlighting.com They are located in Bell, CA.
Ask the wifey if she likes either of these.

Wifey approves (and so do I) of the second (adjustable) unit.

Envision appears to be wholesale only. Can you recommend an online retailer? I only found one, HomElectric Electrical Supply out of Georgia, that carries this fixture in white.

Thanks!

The wholesalers will sell them to you. Try B&K on S. Andreasen Drive, Walters on N. Andreasen, or City Electric on Pauma.
They'll take a credit card.
