I've got a 60 gallon compressor on a mezzanine in my personal shop. I'd really like to get an auto drain of some kind set up for it. My preference would be a float style as the compressor goes days in between uses and there is only 220vac so a timed valve which usually uses a 110vac circuit would require some electrical work.
I have read semi good things about the Harbor Freight unit but also that I should expect it to fail in a year's time. Similar reviews were found for a Beduan drain on Amazon. We have really nice EZ-Drain style units on the air compressors at work but I can't justify one for my use. Is there a prosumer grade float style drain that I can expect to last?
