Yeah, that shouldn't be a problem; my use varies from a couple times a month to every day for a month at a time - can either be on the floor, table or 20 feet in the air.
Pricing can be all over the map depending on the vendor, but most I've seen charge as much as a buck more a pound for the thinner wire. For your use tho, you'll probably like the .023 better... Steve

is the wire I use; I wait til they put it on sale for around $32, then buy several spools. Use it in both Millers. It costs more than no-name, but this way I know it's ME that made a bad weld, not the wire. Your $3 a pound is an OK price, if it's consistent for you no reason to spend more... Steve

10# spools can be from 25 to 40$. Some of the Cheap China wire is as good as any. I had more fuss from WA and Radnor.
