I'm on the northside of Brisbane so not too far away. Once you find the model I can help with finding someone with info. I know of a few guys with SUN documents.

Maybe you could help with fixing the CRTs on my Allen machines. Some of the computer boards also need repairs, they are some form of multibus.

I began fixing old radios and TVs when there was only B&W TVs and mostly Valve/Tube machines! Transistors are easier and IC's can be easier to understand but not as easy to get hold of. If you have circuits of your CRO/CRTs I am happy to take a look at them.
What is/are the fault/s? Often it's drive transistors but transformers and HT(High Voltage) coils may be hard to replace.
WES supplies many parts for the Radio-TV repairers, if any have survived!
Antronics in Kingaroy is the only one I know of but I am sure there will be survivors about.(?) (Anton will be 70 next year but I am a few months ahead of him!)
I have worked with Z80's, 6800's,and most of the 70's/80's computer ICs, but it is very likely one of these 2, or a cousin such as the 6809.
NB: my comment on EPROMs, they get dementia after 20-30 years! They can often be reprogrammed, but only if you have the program to write onto them! Happy to help if I can.
