Hi All, I have recently purchased an old Sun Engine Performance Tester 745, and unfortunately it is not working, wiring issues and a fried transformer in the dwell meter/volt meter unit part number U-600n. The oscilloscope SS-85 also has problems which is proving difficult to repair without wiring diagrams, both these units have vacuum tubes installed, maybe that might indicate the age of the machine, i'm hoping there might be someone out there who worked on these or would have access to wiring diagrams it would be a great help. Also on the CO combustion tester all the rubber hoses have be disconnected so would also need information or a diagram as to the hose orientation. I have a little experience on electrics and circuits and would be willing to learn a bit more if it means getting this fine piece of American history going again and showing the young guys how it was done back in the day. The machine main number is EET-745 it was sold in Ireland where the voltage used here is 220, so it has a 220volt main transformer reduced to 110V feeding the three 110V transformers on the separate modules (three of) the dwell/come volt meter module, the combustion/come rpm meter module and the vacuum/come cylinder leak back meter module which has a small transformer for the gauge lights, the oscilloscope for some very strange reason has its own transformer and it is 220V,
Hope that all makes sense and any information however small would be so so appreciated.
Thanks in advance Holmsey..
