Hi 66Vette! Nice looking machine you have there. SS110 is the model number for the oscilloscope only. The entire machine would be referred to by a number on a tag on the big top cabinet. My guess is your unit is an EET-1160. There is a fellow who advertises on Ebay selling CD pdf copies of old Sun manuals. I think this one should get what you need:

There is a thread of Sun gear enthusiasts here:

Please jump in there with a pic and your story! You will likely need to replace every capacitor in every device to get them working again. That isn't terribly difficult of you can solder and have some patience. It is also not very expensive.

Happy Motoring!

Could not find any other model number on the unit. I have to replace several bulbs in the meters, what is the best way to accomplish this. Does the face of the meter come off? Manual is very important don't know one to order.

I opened the back, laying in there someone had written on a piece of paper with a hand drawn schematic EET 1160.

OK, so it is an 1160. The meters do not come off from the outside, and are not removed to replace the bulbs. The safest way to replace the bulbs is to remove the individual unit from the big cabinet. You will see from behind the wiring plugged into the unit and four fasteners. Remove them and you can then take the unit to a workbench, remove the eight screws from the face of the unit, and take the back cover off to change the bulbs from the back of the face panel. Be very careful not to push in on the glass fronts of the meters. The glass on mine is held to the bezels with what appears to be silicone goop, and if the glass comes loose it falls to the bottom and damages the meter movement.

These are the #51 bulbs I used:

Each unit has 8 bulbs, except the tach/dwell unit which has 15.

I already purchased a CD that included the 1160 manual. Thanks for all of the replies, I will also need to purchase spray paint for the unit it has one spot where the paint had come off.
