sun instruments info

hey all, found this while cleaning out the car. remember picking it up at the goodwill outlet a while ago, love little metal boxes. couldn't find anything on the net but did find something similar that had something to do with jeeps? it's part number was something like wp10? i can't find it now, maybe i imagined it? this 1 is wpw, water proof adapter kit. the gauges might date it to the 50's?
i'm going to put it on craigs list but i don't like posting things i don't know what they are.
anybody know anything about it? i messaged a guy that messed with sun equip. but hasn't gotten back.

Can you post a closer photo of the panel inside the box? The gauges and indicator lights look like it may be something someone built and then installed inside a repurposed Sun box.

hi, now that you bring that up, it does look like things don't fit right.

I'll bet it's just an ammeter and a voltmeter that someone mounted in that box. One set of leads for the voltmeter, one set for the ammeter.

yeah, i think you're right, the contents don't fit the label on the box. i'd still like to know what it originally was?
