I have a pretty nice old SUN 1020 that I want to use for a decoration in my shop. The lights on the gauges all light up and I have the the oscillator scrolling across the screen, but I would like to figure out some way to get it to "blip" like it is hooked up to a running engine. Anybody else do this, or have an idea of how i could get an electrical signal into the scope to get the screen to do more than just flat line?

thanks,

A simple 555 timer circuit would do that for you.

I have a Sun 1011 that needs some circuit boards. I'd like to get it working for the use of the scope, but since I've not had much luck with it, it may end up being used to target practice.
