Sun Machine help needed

Hi,
I recently picked up a Sun Machine 450. I was able to get it going, but there are a few issues/questions:
1. I have the Sun software working, but I can't change the selected vehicle. It is stuck on a 1995 Chevy V6. Whenever I try to change it, it gives me an out of memory error. It looks like there is plenty of RAM and HD..
2. Does anyone have a copy of the Sun 5.0 CD? Can you share it? Make a copy or upload an image to Dropbox? If you are local to IL, I can come pick it up.. From what I read, it looks like it's the last version of the software and I might as well upgrade. It looks like I have 4.0 installed.
3. The calibration stopped working. It used to show green for all the leads. First, the coil leads went (yellow and blue). Then the battery lead went. Then all of the spark wire leads and the AMP meter. Only the Points 1 lead works now.. Is that a common problem with the box where all the leads connect or is it the PC board issue?
4. I replaced all of the vacuum hoses with new ones, but the "Flow" calibration blinks green/red. Can someone take a picture of how the hoses should connect inside the gas bench and on the outside? I was careful with replacing them one by one, but if a mistake was made by someone before me, I just replicated it.. I need to know how it should look/connect..

Thank you,
Oleg

Just buy a 1995 S10 with a 4.3 and your golden. Or, check your local community college or high school with automotive program. These were made right in your backyard. Crystal Lake I think. Gotta be a few around there. Our community collage (Rock Valley) still has one. It was limping last I remember. We had a Bear machine back then and a Sun MCS 3000 or something so I can’t help you with buttons or flashing diag lights.

Just found this post. Not familiar with this model, but most work the same way.

1. I have the Sun software working, but I can't change the selected vehicle. It is stuck on a 1995 Chevy V6. Whenever I try to change it, it gives me an out of memory error. It looks like there is plenty of RAM and HD..
I would look at:
Stuck or sticky keypad.
Re-seat the memory chips
Unplug from the wall and remove batteries to do a hard reset. If it is PC based there might be a coin cell battery in the computer. A new one wouldn't hurt.
Re-seat all circuit board connections.
Is the Hard drive OK?

3. The calibration stopped working.
What does the manual say about lead calibration? With some it involves connecting leads together to zero them out or connecting some to a car battery to match them up.

4. I replaced all of the vacuum hoses with new ones, but the "Flow" calibration blinks green/red.
You need the service manual for routing. What type of tubing did you use? Needs to be nylon. the emissions analyzers often used Thomas pumps. Rebuild kits are available. Cap the end of the emissions hose. It should pull a vacuum and a "low flow" warning should appear.

We had one a little bigger at my school. The Sun guy came out every other week and worked on it, but I don't think it ever had all the features working at once.

My uncle has a Sun Machine 400 that he's asked me to fix. I'm not mechanically minded but I'm good with computers. Seems like the hard drive in his machine is toast so I too am looking for the Sun software to get his machine operating. I'm not sure which version of the Sun software was originally installed, I think the model of the machine was sold around 1998/99.
