Great find on the saw. My father passed away 2 years ago and he gave me his Model 176-3 Sunbeam hand saw just like yours. Does anyone know where I can purchase blades for it?

It is a jigsaw. I have some blades but my son broke the metal cutting one and I would like to replace it.

OK. Enough of the saw. I still need blades for it. Here is what they look like. Does anyone know if or where I can get some?

Nice tool. Put an ebay search in for the blades. They'll show up. Everything shows up.
Worse scenario buy several of the saws in crappy condition but only ones with blades. Broken blades are OK too. Any machine shop(die shop) can use the mount part and weld and reharden another piece from other jigsaw blades on that part for you.It would be well worth the effort and expense to be able to run that jewel.

That bad boy sold for 45 bucks in 1958. That's $375 in today's money.

Wow. Heavy money back in the day. I wanna say a top notch Bosch runs "only" about $250-280 today.
$375 is Festfool money. Pretty impressive and more reason to keep that cherry ticking.

My Dad gave it to me just before he died in 2015. He was 97. That means he could have bought it 57 years earlier. Think I will keep it until I am that old, then pass it on to my son.
