I have this Sunex set along with some Grey Pneumatic. For impact sockets they are a great value.

I almost bought them but went with the gearwrench set instead

Now that the price on the Sunex has increased (currently at $99.35) the GearWrench set is, IMO, a wise choice. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00UM68NYM/?tag=atomicindus08-20 currently at $85.06.

Personally I prefer GearWrench impact sockets over both Sunex and Grey Pneumatic but own some of each. I'd buy US made Snap-On, Wright or SK but my pockets just aren't deep enough.

Although this thread is about 1/2" drive impact sockets IIRC many/most that insist that everyone buy only made in US tools quite often change their tune when it comes time to shell out big bucks when it comes time to purchase 3/4" drive impact sockets.

BTW Mainland China (People's Republic Of China) is a communist nation that practices capitalism while Taiwan (Republic Of China) is a capitalistic nation.

Buy all the Chinese **** you can.

I'll leave you to it.

trust me...i would buy any US made tool over any chinese made tool (including taiwan) but i just can't afford to pay (literally) 3 time more for snap on.

i do seek out alternatives like SK, wright, etc...but snap on's prices are really out there.

then there's the warranty issue...if things break i can't just walk into a store and pick up another tool on the rack. of course if my US made craftsman wrenches ever go bad i know i will end up with the chinese made wrench.:(
