Afternoon, gentlemen. Does anybody own this set from Sunex, the 3646?
https://www.jbtools.com/sunex-3646

I really only need the 14mm for the job at hand, but by the time I spend $10 on that, I can pay for a good part of the whole set. Do I need to worry about 3/8" drive on hex sockets as big as 19mm or 3/4"? I'd ordinarily grab 1/2 drive for 3/4 standard fastener, but it's right on the line, I suppose.

Any feedback?

Who knows?
I can’t remember whether my set is 3/8 or 1/2, but it is definitely from Sunex and has done just fine. I’d go for it.

I have a very similar set from Astro. It's worked well for me when I needed it. I have some Sunex stuff too, but I prefer Astro if prices are similar because they have treated me really well with any warranty issues. They have a rep right on the forum here that has been very helpful.

Although if you just want to choose one set, and buy once, cry once, look at Proto/Mac RBRT, some is available through the Proto line. They are built to be used in a normal and rounded out scenario, and hold up very well to daily use/shop environment/impact

i bought this set few weeks ago. Didn't have a chance to use 19mm. Used 17mm couple times, no issues there. By looks of it, they look very strong because of one piece design. BTW, amazon has it for $28. I had this set in my shopping list for a while and never saw it going for so low.

ASTRO, Sunex or Gray Pneumatic are the go to with respect to impact sockets. If you're talking swivel impacts then ASTRO with their pinless design is the clear favorite but for normal impact sockets all three are just fine.

I have the same set and no issues with 3/8" drive with the 19mm socket but all I've used were the 12 and 14mm sockets.

Should have followed up. These came in, pretty nice set. Probably a little softer steel than would have been ideal, corners round a little more easily than I like, but I'll still get my money's worth from them with careful use.
