My order was cancelled. I got the same email mentioning incorrectly priced KD tools, even though I didn't order any KD tools.

On the bright side, the money is refunded already.

Just got a email from the other order that I placed. "The KD Toolset you ordered on Lowes.com was incorrectly priced; therefore, your order for this item will be canceled and any charges for this item will be refunded to the original form of payment. This should be reflected within 7-10 business days based on your banking institution.

We apologize for this inconvenience."

I didn't think I was going to go through anyway but you never know. I've gotten better deals before I never had a problem.

Copy that. My sunex order was cancelled as well. Received duplicate email as the others.

Well 2 of my orders that have a status as 'delivered' but never came apparently aren't coming since my credit card was credited back for the purchase price of both of those orders. No cancellation email though for these, only the KD order.

No email order showed delivered. did online chat they said the order was cancelled due to pricing error and they will issue a refund and send an email. but he didn’t know when that would be. Said he didn’t know what “team” was handling it or how i could contact them directly.

Possible hope for some people. :)

I just got off the phone with the Lowes Cust Support (1.800.445.6937) about my Sunex order from July 1st.

The first call I made on the 5th. I was told there was a pricing error and Lowes was canceling the order. I never received a cancellation email from Lowes on the order.

I called again last night to check the status of the order as it is still in my order history online with a status of "delivered". The cust service rep told to call back during the day so that they could call Sunex to check the status of the order.

I called this morning and spoke with a Lowes cust service rep who told me my order was still active. He put me on hold and called Sunex to check the status. When I he got back he said that Lowes had received quite a few orders for the Sunex tools and that Sunex was working to complete the orders. No ETA was given.

So, either the CSR didn't know what was going on or I am chasing a unicorn or Lowes/Sunex might come through on this.

Your mileage may vary. LOL

Yes my CC was refunded a long time ago. You should dispute the change and get it taken off

If I ordered more than one thing but not a crazy amount, AND they haven't refunded me, it would be worth playing the game and trying to get them to ship. With a refund and not really needing any of it, meh. I got my refund so not worth playing the game.

With all the refunds and seeing no products shipped, you may have a shot. They're not going to ship hundreds of stuff for that price but they might ship 5-10 of them to those who give them a nudge.

Third call to lowes, guy today said he processed the refund and I should recieve an email within 2 days.

I got told that bs Monday when I called about my order. Friday is here and no email and still no refund for me.

Lowes blamed the vendor for canceling then after I told them it was a pricing error, the representative admitted Lowe’s canceled the order. Then tried to switch me craftsman product, kept me on the phone for half an hour finally saying he has to submit to the proper department for a refund and would get a email in two days.

I have never really been a frequent Lowes customer but they seem shady. I am ok with a pricing error but charging a credit card for an order they never plan on fulfilling is not right. Then no emails about the canceling and no refund. After my customer service call, it seems more like a bait and switch scam.

Geez, at first I was jealous that I saw the "deal" too late and the site had stopped processing orders correctly... now I'm relieved. Lowes never seems 100% on the ball with the whole website thing- starting to think they picked up some of Sears' IT folks along with the Craftsman brand.

For anyone having trouble getting your refund after your call press 1 to do a survey about your call. press 0 and explain that you haven't gotten your money refunded. I did this and within an hour got an email that my refund was finally processed.

I have had the same problem. I have now called four or five times and have had to jump through an amazing amount of hoops to get this charge refunded. I finally got them to refund half of the order and they state that they are working on the other half. I'm sure that I will have to call again.

At this point, I am no longer shopping at Lowes. This is absolutely ridiculous. I have never had so much issue getting a refund from a retailer. And their customer service is atrocious. I'm sticking with Home Depot and Ace Hardware at this point.

I was hopeful for the tools. Spoke with a really nice CSR who called Sunex again to inquire about the status of the order. It seems Sunex now canceled the order for "Technical Difficulties". The CSR offered, after speaking with her manager, to place the order again, same discounted pricing, after canceling my current order. I said sure, run with it.

But..........wait for it.......... wouldn't you know that Sunex is no longer available to order form Lowes. :(

So, end result - no Sunex for me but I did get some discount code to apply to my next Lowes purchase.

Isn't that a good way to get your Cc blocked by Lowes? I've only had to do a dispute once, and sure enough that company blocked my CC.

I could see that if the person didn't have a legitimate claim. If Lowe's wants to not do a return, then dispute the chargeback, they are just asking for a frontpage story on The Consumerist.

Or cancelled by your CC company, IF you have "too many" disputes.


Some of the CC companies, notably Discover, also report the dispute to the credit reporting companies and it can affect your credit score.

I don’t want to turn this into credit card debate I have had to dispute charges a few times mostly for fraud and never had it show up on credit karma. And if one of my cards got blocked by a merchant I have plenty of others. But I’m not going to waste my time fighting for a refund if after a week they don’t return it call up my credit card provider and let them fight it.
