We are not getting even amount of break from my 200T x 12' press break. Left side is a few degrees over right. Had adjusted with test coupons to get both sides together but something is not right possibly with punch (i.e. top "die"). I have 3 punches that came with break but strongly suspect the other 2 haven't been installed in decades. None of us could budge the 5/8 UNC SHCS clamp bolts with the supplied T handle 1/2" hex that put them in. 24 holes are there, missing one bolt and one broken so need to get them out without further loss. Brought my non-impact 1/2 drive x 1/2 hex bit and 24" breaker bar into play and got 22 of them to break loose. The one exception had my breaker bar bent about 4". Could not believe the bit or the square drive did not break!! I need a MUCH stronger bit (preferrably impact rated) as I would like to turn my Milwaukee 3/4 loose on it to break it free. Alternatively would like to be able to use my 3/4 breaker bar or better yet sliding T handle (with 2x cheaters).

Ideally, I wanted a 3/4 drive, one piece, impact rated hex bit and darned if Sunex doesn't make just such a tool. After lunch yesterday I called every tool source in town and nobody even heard of such a thing, including a couple of tool trucks (who knew what I wanted, but couldn't supply). BUT: there it was on Amazon for $30 loonies delivered on our Prime account, so I pushed the button around 14:00. When wife got back from gym this morning and we were enjoying our after breakfast coffee she said she got notice of delivery. 18 hours after I ordered it had made its way from Edmonton warehouse to my doorstep. Intersting that in my searches NOBODY could provide a breaking torque for their tools, but I have learned (right here on GJ) that most of the hex bits in the marketplace come from Taiwan and Sunex seems to be a credible leader. I did speak with Apex for "made in USA" quality, but they only had 1/2x1/2 2 piece bit. Will head into town and see how the reluctant fastener treats this new tool and let you know.

Back for lunch. Used 3/4 breaker bar and sunex bit probably up around 500 lb/ft. when things let go I thought the bolt had broken but it just let loose. Forgot to mention: the first used 1/2 x 1/2 was Proto non impact and I couldn't believe it didn't break itself or my swing bar. I can clearly recommend either of these tools for even the most difficult applications.
