I just bought three sets. 1/2 metric, 1/2 standard, and 3/8 combo with the swivel sockets. They seem very nice. I have never owned any of this brand before but they seemed like the best bang for the buck.

I just bought a used set of Sunnex ASE deep impacts from a guy selling all his tools. The are thinner walled than the truck brand tools , but seem ok to me.

I've had my Sunex impact sockets for 25+ years and wailed the piss out of them.
Broke the 15/16 deep once, warranty was no problem.
Best impact socket for the $, I think.

I bought the 1/2" metric deep set last year and like them a lot. They don't get used very hard, or every day in my home shop, but no issues so far.

I thought they were an excellent value

I have a bunch in my tool boxes and they are the best bang for the buck. My Snap On driver sells them as well.

I've found some of them to have looser tolerances than other brands. Some sizes are spot on, some are .010" over. They are thinner and can get into tighter spaces without having to also buy a special thin socket.

Yes OP you really can't go wrong buying Sunex impact sockets.

Esp last year when they had 100$ mail in rebates on all 3 of those sets

That mail in rebate was pretendous. I am set for life on impact sockets.

They do seem very good quality though. The blow molds are... so-so. The one thing I bought as part of all that madness though that turned out to kinda **** is the SX231P 1/2" impact gun. It has always been oiled with air tool oil but it just gets stuck blowing air without spinning sometimes and you have to give it a kick in the right direction. It doesn't hit hard at all. I'm reasonably certain my M12 3/8" impact would give it a run for its money. If I had time travel powers I would not have bought it but it was not that expensive a lesson.

Thinner walled is typically a more sought after feature on impact sockets.

I have the metric 3/8 master set. They are very nice for how little they cost. I actually like the case, compared to some other cases from Craftsman, Husky, etc it's well made
