I need a 23MM deep impact socket, looks like just that one is $12. - $13. A lot of my other deep metric impacts are real old SK's that have a very thick wall, so I was considering getting a new set. I have a lot of Sunex impact sockets, and have been very happy with them. But the 1/2" drive deep set skips 23, go figure. But just saw a Sunex Pit Pro set on Ebay, includes 23, but the sockets look like HF or something, shiny black versus the matte black of a normal Sunex socket. Anybody have first hand experience with them?

Note only 1 "T", not Pitt as in Pittsburg, as in HF. According to Amazon and Cripes dist, they are made by Sunex.

If they are what I'm thinking they are (cant see the hex of the socket) they'd be similar to the Matco non-slip sockets, which are a smooth shiny-ish black and quite nice.

I've always wondered who makes the MAC version SVDPM166BRPT, I know their not made in the USA as sometimes advertised but their the best I have come across for this lock on/rounded business.

I use to sell Pit Pro when I worked for a local Federated parts store. We were always told they were made by Sunex. I didn't sell a lot because obviously no one heard of them and we had tool trucks, Harbor Freight, Sears and even Amazon to compete with. I know their air tools at one time was made by the same company that made your Matco, Mac, Napa, Sunex and Cornwell Taiwan air tools.

Edit: In my opinion Pit Pro looked like a cheaper tool compared to your Gearwrench, Sunex and even ATD.
