I dislike purchasing certain tools where I cannot put my hands on them. I have heard Sunex wrenches are hit or miss.

Anyone who owns Sunex S-shaped obstruction wrenches that can comment on fit and finish?

Thanks in advance

I have a set of Sunex curved obstruction wrenches in SAE. Bolt fit is fine, but wrenches are a bit thin. I generally don’t like thin wrenches because they hurt your hands after a while, but for obstruction wrenches they are fine, you just don’t use them much. I’m sure the S wrenches are the same. I would have no problem buying another set. Good value over all.

I purchased a new individual wrench a couple years ago.
Fit was acceptable. Initial cosmetic impressions of the finish was pretty good. I havent used it heavily enough to say how well the chrome will hold up. I think it was made in China?

The thing with Sunex is they have been known to change suppliers, sometimes from different countries. I would avoid any wrenches made in India.

Wow thanks @KnurledNut . You saved me on C.O.O. It is most certainly India. Back to the hunt.

To bad Urrea does not make them in Mexico. Their half moon wrenches were very good.
