Sunnen tools

Can someone identify what these two Sunnen tools are? The black one is some kind of lifter, and the grey one could be a valve spring compressor--but kind of an odd one. I'm trying to sell my buddies service tools to help out the widow, but I can't sell something that I don't know what it is.
