Does anyone know if Sunnex Tools are still made here? I have a limited need for a couple of speciality items for one time use and can't justify Snappy $$ if i can help it.

I think they're chinese now but they have had some taiwanese stuff.

I don't think they were ever made in the USA.

I have never seen a U.S. made Sunex tool. Back in the 1980s I remember them coming from Korea. The recent Sunex tools I have are all from Taiwan.

All sunex is taiwan at this pont. Nothing is china, unless its there rebrands.
GearWrench is another viable taiwan option. Atleast there torque wrenches are usa made.

I have purchased individual impact sockets from them a couple times in the last 6 months (from different retailers) and they are all Taiwan made.

I've got a couple of their impact sockets and the boss has a bunch, all marked Cr-Mo (better than chrome vanadium) and Taiwan. I've never had a complaint about them. The boss also has a set of flare crowsfeet, no COO marked on them and the package is long gone. They look good enough though, if they are Chinese they did better than average, and haven't had a problem with them the few times I've used them.
