Well, fellas, here she is. What I considered my dream garage when I had a simple 14X20 downstate. As usual, it's not big enough, as I already envision what I can't do in the future. But...I had it built so it would be easy to add onto if need be. And I'm sure it need be in the next few years.:D I started pricing a 28X56, but it just wasn't in the cards. (Or my bank account) I settled on a 24X48 and it was just the perfect size for what money I had on hand, and also I found out that another 4 feet of width would have grossly cut off my view of the woods from my family room. The garage as it sits now is practically even with the end of my doorwall. First pic is when it was just built last fall and electric was deadheaded at wall. Ground up asphalt was added to make it useable; until then, a vehicle would have been mired in the sand, as this property is pretty much Lake Huron beach.

Now a couple inside pics and you can see the need for insulation and drywall, which is next. Hopefully within the next 2-3 months, depending on funds and luck with my old house.
