We're redoing a failing wooden deck that is roofed over. It is open on 2 sides but we are considering making it into a 3-season space with some kind of screens/windows, but our more immediate question is about flooring. My wife wants smooth flooring, not spaced decking, and we found some nice looking vinyl planking that we thought would work, as it is waterproof and a floating system, but it isn't recommended for southern sun exposure. Any suggestions for something that could work and isn't too expensive? Cost would rule out ceramic tile, I think.

I've been trying to find good sunroom flooring for years. we started out with carpet tiles. They faded after a year. Then we put down composite (if that's the right word) planking. Cat pee and an open window during a rainstorm did them in. Now we have vinyl planks, but the floor isn't perfectly level (thanks Patio Enclosures) and they're separating at several seams. Maybe some kind of vinyl sheeting next, or perhaps horse stall rubber sheets from Tractor Supply...

Assuming everything is structurally sound we have a perforated deck tile that would work. Its rated for exterior use

Justin, which product is the perforated deck tile? Not sure from the website descriptions.
