BBB reason for the F rating:
On March 20, 2014, BBB recognized a pattern of complaints from consumers regarding delivery and refund issues. Consumers allege at the time of order, Americas Tool Warehouse does not inform them the items are back-ordered. After learning there will be a delay in delivery, consumers claim they attempt to cancel their order. Consumers allege the company later charges their credit card and informs them the order has been shipped; consumers are told they may return it for a full refund. However, once consumers send the order back to Americas Tool Warehouse, there is a significant delay in receiving a refund, or a refund is not received at all.
